@OP constantly increasing weights is so key. Took me a while to understand that. And that workouts should never really be ‘comfortable’. Comfort seems to be the opposite of growth and strength, and I often think of the parallels to work.
Tell me about it. It sucks. My trainor also changes my route so that my body doesn't get too used to things. Hence the shift every 6 weeks
Gym, basement, friend's house.
Program depends on your goal. Right now I've taken a break from powerlifting and focusing on a bodybuilding program ala Jordan Peters. Dude is a beast.
YMCA for 2 days of weightlifting and 1 day of HIIT class. The road for 2 days of running, short and longer distance. Rinse ‘n repeat every week.
Mega chain gym (Equinox). 2x upper body. 2 days lower body. 2 days of some sorta interval training (sprints, conditioning class, spin class, swimming, etc)
thinking of going on to Hybrid Training. would be curious if anyone has used that ?
I got to Equinox as well. I have a 3 day plan that increases in weights per week and completely changes every 6 weeks. I also run 3-4 times a week anywhere from 3-6+miles.
Blink! I go every morning from 6a-7:30a
And I’ve been doing a 3 day body split (legs, pull, and push) for about 6 weeks
