Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable
Welp, see yeah later KFC!

I try for around 20-22 days, but some years I’ve only taken like 15 and felt it. Unlimited PTO sounds great until you realize no one’s tracking it, and you have to advocate for yourself every time. I started blocking off time at the start of the year, and it helped me commit to actually resting. Curious, do people on your team take full advantage or kinda wait for others to go first?
I’m typically at 20-25 days - we’re also closed between Christmas and New Years. But without guardrails on what constitutes “appropriate use” or managerial oversight, it’s very easy to take advantage of the policy. Ask the junior person at our agency who took 9 weeks in 2023.
I take 25-28 days. Before "unlimited," I got 25 so I feel comfortable taking that + a few more days to show them that I'm FULLY taking advantage of their "unlimited" policy (without going crazy).
I honestly take a lot less than I used to when I had a standard three weeks of PTO. I always feel guilty and ashamed into not taking any time off because I don't want to be a burden on other people. Whereas, before, there was an expectation that if you didn't use your PTO, you would lose it. I hope we go back to that system, which they've talked about possibly doing.
This makes me yearn for unlimited. I currently get 10
TEN DAYS? That feels like nothing.
We've switched to unlimited in the last few years. I originally want to say I was entitled to three weeks and at this point in my tenure I'd be entitled to four weeks plus a few floating summer days so I'm with you in that 20-22 days is about what I aim for.
