FTI 🐠: what can I expect during a first round Consultant interview for Corporate Finance & Rx? Just behavioral? Technical knowledge? Not sure what they’d really expect on the technical side

The job market is great however i am having hard time to get an interview. Most of the times I get rejected in HR screening for either - we don’t sponsor or visa / or relocation is must. I am at a point where I have to find a job in next 3 months. Any tips from visa dependent folks ? I have 12+ years of experience

Boomer. I am in between jobs. Laid off in 10/21 after 16+ yrs, with an ABA firm. RIF. Still on excellent terms. Took my time living off generous package and didn’t seriously start applying until 01/22. Made a rookie mistake and accepted first offer.
Turns out job wasn’t as advertised. Mutual parting of ways 3/22. Due diligence is critical.
Now interviewing a LOT. Some temp work, I still have “it”. I relate to all gens. Willing to mentor AND learn from all. Tech savvy, CTE from day one. Leads?

I’m a new analyst at a PE firm, and my associate keeps blaming me for things she does wrong. Like she will tell me I made the wrong change, even though she is the one who changed it. Or in calls with other people, she won’t take responsibility for things that she told me to do that the other person calls out as wrong. currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover
