Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Those bhikaris need approval from their German master for every job offer being rolled out in India. Because the leadership is useless and solely dependent on Bosch Germany to send money. They didn't work on getting any local clients within India. Only on August 15 and January 26, they pretend to be proud Indians. Rest of the time, they are happy to be slaves of the German master, following whatever the German says instead of using their own tiny defective brains. So don't conclude anything, it depends on the German master if or when you will get the offer.
For normal people, yes, that's how you would expect. First get all the internal approvals before contacting the candidates outside. But Bosch operates in silos, where people do only their department work, even if it goes against the company's interests.
Moreover, most of the RBEI management people are incompetent and useless with slave mentality and colonial mindset. I have seen cases where 20-years experienced manager in RBEI was taking instructions from 6-months experienced German fresher! (Because he is German so obviously he knows more than us!)
I wouldn't trust these RBEI managers to find their way out if they get trapped in a paper bag. They will wait for their German "counterpart" to tell them to tear the paper (because that is the process and they don't want to use their own brain).
Does that mean if Germans stop finding
Bosch global software services will perish ? They would have its own PL statement and ownership to budget all the departments.
RBEI has a lot of useless roles, including Engineering Manager and Head of Engineering, who don't do any Engineering. There are even people whose only job is to copy ticket numbers and time estimate from Jira to timesheet. 🤣 So one should never take these designations seriously.
Anyway, for RBEI, "global sales" means mostly selling billable hours to Bosch GmbH. It's not really a necessary role, but these roles are more like scarecrows placed in a farm. They exist mostly to put on a veneer for the external world to see.
