Manager Ratings: Generally speaking, in consulting, for a long term project, if there’s a team of 6 people (1 person managing everyone, and below that person 5 different people who are associates or senior associates) is there pressure on the manager to give at least 1 of the 5 associates/senior associates a bad review? Interviewing for BCG PL role as an experienced hire. Have Bain experience post MBA for 2 years and 2 years with industry after that. Want to go back to consulting but different geography. Was told 4 interviews in total. I am now waiting for my 6th interview schedule. 5th interview was with head of region. Is this process normal ? All interviewers were with partners. Should I even have any hopes or are they just exploring. Would be helpful if someone has been through experienced hiring at BCG.
