I recently joined Capgemini at 13.5 LPA along with 1 lakh as joining bonus. It was a jump from 6.5 and I have 4 YOE with 2 yrs in React JS

Did I settle for less as I can see people taking even bigger jumps with less experience?

My joining date was 15 September, so am I eligible for upcoming appraisal as the annual review is due by October 14 and I have just joined a project?

For questions as to why you are looking to leave your current firm.. I am looking to move because for some reason I am hand-held a lot and given simpler tasks, so I am getting bored and want more challenging / much more fast paced environment. Also kind of bored because I am on one project for a long time and I want exposure to variety of projects. Is this a fair answer or would I be seen as arrogant? Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?

While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..
