Got a call from a client saying their mouse cursor was "twitching" all over the screen, making it impossible for them to work. Before I went for the usual "have you tried turning it off and on again?" I just asked if they had any other mice connected or nearby. Turns out they had a Bluetooth mouse in their laptop bag that was switched on. They turned it off, and the cursor went completely still. They think I'm a miracle worker. lol!

I have joined IBM and resigned within 50 days.
Reason: project I was allocated not good and I initially rejected project but they forcefully moved to the project.I have asked multiple times to replace the project after that I have resigned.
Now manager is threatening me that I will be placed under no hire to IBM.
Is it ethical?

Got offer from Cognizant and Infosys.. Where Cognizant offering more package almost 1.5 Lpa mor, but heard lot of negative review on social media like they don't have good project, no job security, they will make you to work on other tech etc . I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?

When you meet with a partner for a new assignment. Do you bill for that time? I’m a new associate, so I don’t know. On the one side it seems that meeting and conferring for an assignment requested by the the client would be billable since it’s using firm time and resources. On the other side, we are just talking about how to tackle the assignment and not tackling the assignment itself.

Career pivot into consulting? I've always been in a non client serving role and I just want that opportunity? Even completed an MBA and no luck. Too much experience in one area that am no longer interested on.

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.
