Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Amazon.
Don't go to Amazon
Google working for Amazon
I interviewed w aws and found the process to be amazingly fun. Damn hard questions that made me think.
There are some downsides but i would at least take the interviews to see what other people are looking for.
Get promoted first. Will look a lot better on your resume plus a raise to leverage Amazon against.
^ but you dont amazon calls so easily. what if i dont get the call once i get promoted
Pay package would be great too!
@accenture1- what about my promotion and new location?
Just interview. If u get it, think about it later.
Amazon fo sho
Reasons please?
The job is pretty sucky
And it's AWS not Amazon it's essentially a support job. Friend is in it. Just basic technical support skills with a good pay. If that interests you that is
@slalom2- what position were you interviewing and did you get the offer?
I want to say it was solution architect...i was going through the process at warp speed but i ran out of time. Meaning that i could not delay making a decision on slalom or aws.
I will say....the aws interview was amazingly technical...but more in an architecture sense than what is the command for this
Op what's the job title? It's hard to give advice on interviewing for such a big group
job title is business intelligence interview
*engineer
Ah then I would think that it's not as bad as working as a software engineer there. Still, be aware of the negative reviews and press Amazon has gotten for its work life balance
Op whats the pay ~
