I’m a S3 in southeast Risk and seeing similar offers. It’s not enough of a base % raise (basically 10%) for me to move so I’m sucking it up for another busy season, hopefully making manager, and then moving. I’ve also had trouble getting industry to consider me for Manager since I don’t have that title yet. Of course accounting/finance and IT don’t quite translate but this is what I’m seeing.
Sounds low
Depends on the hours, 401k contributions, PTO, and health insurance premiums paid by the employer.
Also always ask for $10k more, the worst they can say is no.
Agree sounds low
That's a good offer for Dallas. The normal rate for a 4 years experience , leaving for that role in NYC is about 90 to 95 on the base + 30 percent bonus . Given cost of living , that's an excellent offer. However, getting manager title will provide a serious bump. I'm guessing TPG for the offer?
