Ehn, counter for higher sign on for sure, base maybe see if they can go to 110 but it seems legit to me
Yeah! Lol so basically federal projects last FOREVER. I’m not even joking. Like YEARS

For a SC position, nope, that's actually pretty decent. The A band starts below that, so it's not a low-ball.
Since you said you hate your current role at AFS...if you like the people you interviewed with and the project sounds interesting, it wouldn't be a bad move to jump.
BAH has a net better client rep than AFS (mostly for legacy reasons), for what that's worth, but on the consulting side they both have better reputations in different areas.
Nothing wrong with BAH as a whole, but your experience and comp there will be highly contingent on the client and admin pyramid you're on.
Concur on admin team. My first go around at BAH I had a very strong team…great rep in the firm. My second team (comeback kid) was much weaker. Promo’s took forever. And it was a herculean task to get that promo.
Is the jump in brand worth it? Does not seem like the comp is worth it.
Capital one was def brutal- but also look into EY! They were super nice. How was Deloitte?
Not nearly enough to jump. I'd hold out for at least 130k given current market and inflation.
Currently as scrum master? Why move from previous two roles to current one? Seems to me that you are moving away from tech.
BAH has a better WLB and culture than other consulting firms which is why it tends to pay on the lower end. The 5K salary jump doesn’t seem worth it to me unless you really dislike your current project. Take this, look for opportunities in the meantime, and dip!
Happy to help!
Lowballed? No. But is it worth it? No.
Dc is expensive man 😵💫
What level?
85 that’s why it didn’t seem worth leaving for
A while ago I got an offer at BAH for sr. consultant, data analyst for 95k + 5k sign on. When I got the offer I was making slightly less than you but chose not to take it bc the increase was marginal. However I really liked the people I talked to at BAH and it seemed like a good culture with good WLB. I think you can negotiate up to 95 though since that was the offer after negotiations.
I tried to negotiate and the recruiter was very nice but they didn’t budge :/
That's low. There's SAs at 90k. Money wise I'd say stick it out and then switch to a different project. WLB will probably be the same as AFS.
I’d say to roll off one of the projects
