How’s everyone holding up?
I have received an email after my interview with HCL from consultant stating I have selected for HCL technologies and asking for information like, when U was interviewed and whether I received any link for documents upload from HCL.
I replied to that email saying interview has been done and I am yet to receive any link from HCL for documents upload nor any call from HCL HR.
Can anybody suggest, whether the process wil take time or where should I contact for further process.HCL Technologies

How old are you and what is your level of experience. Right after MBA at Google, you start at a level 4 if you have 3 to 5 years of pre-mba experience. People with 6-8 years of work experience normally start at a level 5. MBA + 2-3 years of exp is usually a level 5.

Candidate who gets not very strong feedback may get offered n-1 level. That sounds like what might have happened here. If you are ok with TC range, you’ll have to decide whether to come in at lower level and earn your promo. L4-5 normally takes 2-3 years with good performance.
You can try to negotiate after HC regarding level but it goes back to that same group to see if they would approve the higher level. The recruiters have gotten really good at knowing what the level will be based on the feedback and process.
If you are not feeling the offer then I would encourage you to walk away from the process politely and come back again next year. You know have the interviewing experience and can bring another YOE to the process and improve on the ratings this go round.
I asked for a salary range before my first interview and what I got was lower than my expectations.
I was asked for my expected TC and breakdown of cash vs equity before being sent for panel review. Asked for 27% above the max range the recruiter had provided. Was given 29% above the max range.
Sorry what’s the issue here? You’re going to HC but recruiter wanted to confirm you’re okay with the TC range first?
I made a mistake not asking for level for the second role. Now i feel this is a low-balling effort. Usually comp discussions are initiated after HC right ?
I might be wrong, but just wanted to if this is a common practice - going to HC if aligned on TC (i get that alignment on level is needed, but TC too?)
AFAIK many roles are targeting a specific level, so maybe it’s that it is A) the level that was requested or B) the level recommended by your interviewers?
Thanks for the info. This is a demanding role per my interviews with Google folks with occasional weekend work. And usually folks come in at L5.
What role is this for? You said PSO but you didn’t say what role. Also, relocation is separate from the compensation discussion

What role?
I started at L3 with an msc and 6 years experience. I have a colleague who started L4 with MBA and 8 years experience. Starting level is variable and can be quite subjective.
