About to get a base salary raise from $100=>$150, what is something you couldn’t do at $100 but started doing/recommend doing at $150?

*24M, no student loans, no debt at all

I was initially considered for an insights and analytics Manager - experience management opportunity, aced all the interviews and the recruiter got back to me saying they really liked me but are considering me for a Senior Consultant position in order to ‘set me up for success’, and that I could be promoted to manager anywhere within 3 to 6 months..
Not super excited about the ‘drop’ in title, I currently am Sr Mgr of analytics at a Fintech managing a team of 4 FT analysts

So I was offered a role in Strategy Consulting in after 2 years in Risk Consulting however, after 2 years I’ve only worked on Internal audit engagements few ad hocs such as updating risk register and the delegation of authority matrix.

Honestly speaking I am doing good and I am up for promotion in October however I am not fully enjoying my time but I fear that the move would not be a good and I can’t hit the ground running which scares me.

Any advice and past experiences in such career shit?

I’ve worked 2 years at a non profit 501c 3 tech startup. When I started there were 6 employees we now have 22. I am considered a part of leadership and am a people manager in addition to my sales role. I am a high performer and last year got a 10% raise (which I asked for). This year I was offered 5%. I am going to counter but curious what anyone thinks I should ask for. I was thinking 8%.

Tips for 6-month eval? Originally hired at 35K as assistant and was told if I performed well, I could expect to make 50K after a year. After one week, the operations manager resigned and I took over as a trial. Officially am operations manager, but no title (only verbal) and no raise. Owner likes benefits over big pay raises. Thinking about asking for 46K, new cellphone and official title change. I'm expecting some negotiating, which I've never done. 24F, AA Bus Admin, and overall good employee

I like my current job, company and public accounting. I know I am being underpaid at $70k as a senior tax associate with 2-3 years of experience as I have talked with my local peers as well as local recruiters. Also, I know outside hires to my company get paid about $5-$10k higher than me, but they don’t get a raise the following year. My question is what is everyone’s experience with company hopping to get a pay bump within public accounting?

I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.

A promotion from analyst to senior analyst OR analyst to associate OR analyst to consultant should increase your salary by what %?

What’s an average base salary for a Personal Injury litigation associate with 1 year of experience in South Florida? I accepted $60k right after passing the bar last year but annual reviews are coming up soon and I want to make a reasonable/realistic negotiation for a raise.

I work as an AGM in a busy restaurant. Been working there for just over a year, and haven't had a single raise. I now only make 0.50 cents more than even the lowest paid shift lead but I am doing a lot more work. I'm no longer satisfied with these conditions. Been with company for 2.5 years in a SFA role, and they just let me hire an associate financial analyst reporting into me. My manager never mentioned anything in regards to a promotion, but when I asked, I was told that there will be an evaluation period before any promotion is given. Has anyone else had this before, where you are managing someone but they don’t give you a promotion? Sounds bizarre to me that they allow me to hire someone but then are hesitant to promote.
