If you feel like you need to jump for the raise that's fair. Just remember the pay increase is for the loss of network and in short order it will be the same deal, you're at the top of the salary band so no big raises.
P3, and OP, sorry, I thought the question was, how do I stop feeling sorry for myself.
I was getting paid $110 as a SA1 when I switched firms. I left my last firm at $90K. I'm now an SA3 and make $140. So yes, absolutely I think you should switch.
no wonder. You can't even spell woe
Lol, no. It's definitely "woe is me."
I was running through these sheets with my woahs!
You know how excel goes. You know how excel goes.
^actually, it wasn't a spelling issue, it was a misuse issue. Doubly embarrassing for you, D1
Most certainly a spelling issue
Woe, that's shitty. (1) you have a job and were not laid off, (2) you got promoted and got a 12% bump, (3) you make more than 99% of ppl in this world.
Wait, D1 & PwC 4, let me ask you - would you want to be a manager making less than $110K? Here's a simple fact - A manager makes at least 20K more for the responsibility you attract with the position. If all you have to do is to make a switch to a firm that will pay you right for the role and you stay and do the same type of work as before, then why the heck not. Guy's got a point and if he's unhappy then it's his prerogative to switch. We don't work for non-profits guys
I'm a woman but PWC that's exactly what I was thinking, my bump should have been 20% I was rated a 5.. I've been busting my ass.. Maybe that's why my pay is so shitty but still makes me want to look elsewhere
PWC4 this is my question just because other firms had bad years and layoffs doesn't mean I shouldn't get what I would deserve, you work in consulting for the large pay raises after continuing to bust your ass each year to make it to the next level. And yes I may make more than 99% of people but i see all of my friends working 9-5 while I work 12-14 hour days while at the client site. I chose this profession for the perks of large pay increases if I perform well 😳
🙈 clearly improper use on my part.. Too many drinks but no excuse 😂
That's what I was thinking PWC
Sorry bro. I was just playing
Nope 😳
Time to jump ships and get that 25% on top you deserve
Shit dude, what practice/ DTE are you in? Seems pretty low
I made D with 0% OP if that helps, dont care that much either guess I negotiated my way up and cohorts had to fuck me
I didn't make that as a manager 1... And 140 at SA3 is wild, I was in 90s..
What was your bump?
No biggie, man. Sorry to hear about the raise 😔
