Guess a con. firm: Went through the HR screen, three case studies/tests, three interviews with leadership (eg dir/par/vp/md) got a call from HR straight after the final one saying they have excellent feedback and they want to progress to make me an offer but need to get approvals and find me the right team, ghosted me for more than a month after which I chased recruiter who says that they unfortunately won't be coming with an offer with some bs about not being able to find me the right team.

When does the recruitment cycle for the top20 firms end? I applied to many, heard back from one(which i later got rejected for). Do i still have a chance of hearing back?

Feeling that I never land an offer from Google. I have tried many times and in my last try, I passed phone screening but recruiter ghosted me...

I recently had an interview with HCL and cleared 2 rounds of technical interview. I waited for a week for HR call but no such call was received. I then contacted the POC who scheduled the interview (he is an HCL employee) and he said that I have been shortlisted and will receive HR call shortly. This was 1 week ago and I have still not received any call. Has anyone else faced the same issue? And if yes, should I even expect a call fro HR?

I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I feel peeved that they wasted my time. Red flags?

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

A company was pretty aggressively recruiting me until 4 interviews in — no movement. I haven’t heard back in a week and a half about next steps. Should I assume I won’t be moving forward any longer?
