RSM that’s a common misconception but not how it works. If you’re paying the same tax rate now as in retirement, then Roth/traditional are exactly the same.

How much money do you want to withdraw in retirement? If you want to use more than you currently make, go heavier on Roth. But if you want to use less than you currently make, go for 401k.

Easy: with 150k salary, I'd do traditional 401k all day every day, no question. Your future effective tax rate is extremely likely to be less than 24% (your current marginal rate), so you reduce your tax liability today and you'll pay less taxes on that money later. No brainer
