I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

You'll get something better..
I honestly think sometimes when you don't get a role (even if it seems perfect!) it's fate. Something better will come along!
You never know...a role may open in the future and it will be something better that he/she considers you for. You never know what is going on behind the scenes.
:( sorry to hear.
Thanks guys. I think the bit that stings is that my coffee with this guy lasted way longer than I expected it would have, and I was mostly excited about the prospect of working for someone who I get along with well...
Hope so :)
Everything happens for a reason. Sounds like the role already was filled, maybe just awaiting confirmation. The enthusiasm towards you was probably genuine. This happened to me recently and shortly thereafter everyone started leaving the firm that didn't hire me - I'm so thankful they didn't. Think they made an internal hire instead. Btw the role I'm in now is one I was originally turned down for.
MS1, that's great. How soon after they rejected you did they reach out, and did they share the reason?
