Had an interview with a TINY firm. Pretty much one partner and one associate(that i would replace as they are moving). Partner said PY they made 900k. He then says if you do 20% of the clients for 180k you tell me how much you want of that 180k. Okay so how do i say i want at least half of that when i have 1.5 years experience.... current associate said he made 40k year one and 50k year two...soemthing doesn’t add up???

I’m curious if it’s just my company or if every sophisticated accounting department will have non traditional ways of posting their journal entries.
