Had virtual interviews (4 hours) with V5 a week ago. Met with everyone in the practice group. Haven’t heard anything since. Anything I should do at this time? Edit: Already sent thank-you notes within 24 hours after the interview.

If you have email addresses and haven’t reached out yet, thank them for their time. Better yet, I like to do hand written thank yous in the mail, although a week later plus mail time, emails might be more advisable.

The word “sweatshop” was used multiple times yet I am still having a hard time wrapping my head around it. This is truly “you can’t pay me enough to be part of that” in action. I have a somewhat unsteady, gappy work history due to several health issues — serious ones — that have gotten in the way since I passed the bar. I am better finally, and ready to get back to work, but I don’t know how to explain this or even approach this during interviews/resume writing.

Anyone have any helpful advice?
