I go on vacation in 2 weeks and i just cant focus at all 😭😭

Choosing between 2 industry job offers. One pays $9k more than the other and has better benefits (unlimited pto, company gives random mental health days off, great health insurance, etc). The other offer pays less, but I enjoy the job description more and I connected more with my interviewers. Benefits are subpar though (only 15 days of pto per year for the first 4 years, high health insurance costs). Would you choose lower pay and not so great benefits if it meant you’d enjoy your job more?

Has anyone left Morgan Stanley after parental leave? Can you quit right after leave is over for another job or do you have to put in your two weeks first? Also can you use your vacation after you put your two weeks in?

New hire here. When is it acceptable to take your first PTO? We have unlimited in theory - feel like there is some social pressure to not take it though.

So, I got through to final stages at a management consultancy where they all ‘loved me’ apparently. Job being advertised at £50-70k, they said I have potential & if they do want to offer me a role (within 2 wks as snr mgt team all on holiday wtf) would be a starting salary of £45k with salary increases (timeline of this increase tbd) in accordance with my performance. They’ve tried recruiting internally but can’t even get anyone past the first round. I feel like rejecting on principle! Thoughts?

Hi ladies! I’ve been feeling down and behind in my career compared to my friends. We recently made career shifts and they moved to great firms in really prestigious roles and i’m super excited for them. But I can’t help but feel like I made a poor career choice steps behind compared to them. I know I am capable of attaining and performing well in the roles they have so I feel less excited about the role I have now. I’ve been looking at job openings. I shouldn't compare but it’s hard. Any advice?

Had a final round interview with a CD earlier this week. At the end of it, they told me that the recruiter would follow up later this week, and the recruiter said the same thing after replying to my thank you note.
