Has anyone been fired before and had to pay back a signing bonus? Pretty sure you have to pay back the taxes you paid on it too right? Is there anyway to get any of the taxes back from the IRS later and/or any other recourse?

I'm deciding between two offers: 1. FDD Associate at A&M (90k base + likely 30-40k annual bonus) 2. Analyst at a small boutique IB with decent deal flow (75k base + likely 50-70k annual bonus)

Has anyone found a way to automate salary certifications?

We get about 3-5 requests daily to fill out salary certifications for our employees in EMEA.

At the moment, we have to do all of them manually. We open a pdf, then open their employee file and plug away. It's tedious and time-consuming, but the banks I found won't accept an internal salary certification for some reason. They're adamant about using their form. Has anyone come across this?

I'm early in my career, managed to save $30K to invest, and want to get my hands dirty with a rental property without too much risk (e.g. no HML/flipping).
