Hello ZSers,
I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

How much do you keep in the bank vs brokerage?
Hello Guys,
I Got one Offer from Fynd but that is too low for me and as per my expereince
They are giving me 9 LPA bcz I quoted that amount when I applied for it long back. at that time I didnt know more about how salary and all calculated and whats the market research
Now after clearing all the rounds when we meet for salary discussion i told him my real desired salary as per experience and market reseach
He told me that I quoted 9 LPA so we can not do more "unless you have any counter offer"

Also agree with K1. I've never heard of having to pay back your signing bonus because you got fired for performance or laid off. If anything, everyone I know who got fired for performance or laid off got 3 months severance to look for a new job.
OP - This was at another T2 and not OW. But yes, all the folks I saw released were new hire associates with 6-9 months of consulting exp.
AFAIK, we do have a severance pay plan at OW. I don't have a copy in front but I would search for that. If I recall, it also outlines what is for cause and I don't believe performance was one of them.
Hey OP any update? Hoping for the best!

Hit me up if you want to talk about what went wrong and where and we can chat about a possible referral. Some companies don’t allow for growing pains at a new job. My company was really chill about my first six months underperforming because they understood there was a learning curve. I’m one of our highest performers now (been told in reviews) and I just needed the extra time to get my feet under me.

I also don’t think OP is getting fired at least not in the near term. More like a “Needs Development” flag and action plan to improve.
WHAT! Spill the tea….
I have not been fired yet and apparently companies don’t do it on Fridays so possible I’m in the clear? Also not staffed yet so that isn’t great

Don’t let this stress hang over you. Reach out to your leadership proactively. First sit down and think about where you’re falling short, where you need support, and where you excel.
Treat this like a consultant and lead the conversation. Best case you get everything you need to be successful there and thrive. Worst case you know where you stand and you get canned a few weeks earlier (hopefully before the end of the strong job market).

Update: I think I’m being fired on Tuesday. Just got a meeting invite with a bunch of folks on it.
I hope you’re job hunting 😬 this is too much to put a person through, jump ship
