Hi Fishes,
I am at a career standpoint where i am really confused what to do.
I have 4+ yoe in RPA .I really dont think its sustainable as a career .I am willing to learn and move into something different.
But what i am really confused is how would i manage to switch jobs without any prior experience?
I already earn 13-15 lpa,why would anyone offer me same level of package without experience?
People who do a successful career switch, please share your stories. In need of some motivation

Vacations lasting a month are normal in most of the world. Even nations that we think are not great for work life balance are fine with longer vacations.
It's pretty much just the USA that is like this. My point is that what I think you are thinking of doing is normal and wouldn't even bea big deal on most places.
Hey I do this every year. I call them “fuck off vacations” usually 30-40 days I’m out somewhere unreachable. I’ve essentially fucked off from the mundane routine.
Yes, you absolutely should not be waiting until crisis mode to take a break. Someone smart once told me you should already be planning your next vacation/PTO right as or even before you come back from your current one. It gives you not just a break but something to look forward to—the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. And these should be more than just a couple of days off but a true break, like at least a week, or more if you can swing it.
However, you always shouldn’t always just be slogging toward a two-week break and not take any time the rest of the year. planning on taking off a random weekday or long weekend is helpful to break up the daily grind and allow yourself a little extra rest (brain, body, and soul).
Taking a break is great, but you need to address the reasons for burnout otherwise you will end up in a cycle
I recently took almost a month off (huge deal since I’m in North America) and it was super healing. But…I fell right back into bad habits and overwhelm when I came back. Now I’m working on addressing the root causes of my burnout, trying to set better boundaries on a daily basis, and am looking for random one-off resets like 1 or 2-day yoga retreats over the weekend that I can do intermittently throughout the year, rather than taking off big chunks of time. Good luck!!!

I take off 1-3 months every 3-4 years max throughout my career.
