Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

I don’t do more than a glass of wine at select dinners and never drink at happy hours. I have found that a sober mind is best for work because you can drink and socialize in personal settings with less visibility.
I’ve also found that the standard is not a standard at all as it changes depending on the person. One person can be several beers in and be considered a great time. Another person can be a couple drinks and get judged. Not worth the strategic thinking lol we need that for work 🤣
I once mistook my Ambien for my Adderrall. Took two Ambiem instead of two Adderrall. Literally passed out at my desk.
Ive put wine in my coffee cup a couple times. Alone - its boring and more of a let down than anything.
The other time i split a wine bottle amongst my team (i think the whole team was fed up with our manager who asked us to work late), so it was a bit of a hype thing to do. Team loved it and it brightened up their night. One guy posted about it (nothing incriminating) on his personal social media, i think it was one of his first “wild” work memories for him.
TLDR - drink secretly with work friends.
I once got high on painkillers in the office but that ended up being extremely regrettable. Would not recommend to anyone regardless of how slow you THINK the day is gonna be. Please just trust me on this one lol, all it takes is one person to snitch and your career is over.
Thankfully I didn’t have anyone snitch but my work product was subpar on a day we had a particularly high priority emergency with a client project
So during my summer analyst job at a bank my jr yr we got a Yankees suite w an open bar and I got plastered. It was loads of fun.
