bonus letter received?
Hi all,
I'm serving Notice period and last date shall be 13th May 2022. Can someone help me understand if the bands and compensation isn't release by that date, will that be adjusted in full and final settlement?? If so, what about the components, which all shall be credited in that FFS?
Thanks in advance.

I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

The Walgreens family no longer runs the store or business. They’ve got goofy rules and nobody knows what the hell they’re doing.
Horrible company to work for!!!!
I’m getting ready to pay it back. I’d negotiate a higher hourly wage. There is a reason for the sign on bonus.
It’s voluntary meaning you have to quit to have to pay back. They can’t fire you to make you pay it back
This agreement says for any reason which I interpret termination would be included in any reason.
Yes. I was very honest about the sign-on bonus and rejected formally by emailing the recruiter and DM. That's nothing out of the ordinary. The "bonus" had a commitment identical to yours, so the sign-on wasn't even worth it to me.
I've successfully asked for a higher hourly rate. Make sure you know your BATNA when negotiating!
Thanks for bringing this up! I work in the Midwest and was able to set the floor of my hourly wage. I didn't even mention the bonus when negotiating, but my store manager still accepted the proposed minimum rate, even give me an extra 55 cents per hour, which translate to around 121K total in annual salary if I work full time. I'd recommend starting with a reasonable rate that you can find from Glassdoor or a job report for a similar experience level at the same geographic area.
Also, the timing is important. If I started in 2021, I would've only been offered 100K per year (21K less than if starting in 2022). Also, the initial bump is small, but the increases tend to happen in waves. 6 months later, the store manager gave me another 5% bump in hourly rate (127K annual salary, or another 6K more per year).
I guess my store desperately needed people at the height of the vaccination season last fall?
Context: this is my second concurrent job, and I already had retail experience with the same chain as an intern + grad intern, so I focused on selling them on my demonstrated adaptability, time management skills, and customer service skills. In return, I have more flexibility with my schedule, as long as I take 1 shift per month.
What questions do you have?
I took a sign on bonus in 2007 for a 3 year commitment. It worked out no problem. I also know lots of other RPh that had no issues.
They closed my store and I haven’t heard anything about returning my bonus (yet).
