Has anyone gotten free Becker software extension for the CPA exam? It seems that there used to be a free 3-month extension but now Becker is charging $200 for it?

^ Fall back would be to hit up the first years if they could share their password.

I called them and asked them for a courtesy extension. They gave it to me without charge.

^ It was just for Reg though.

^ Great idea! Lol

They only charge 200$ for 3-month extension? That's great! Mine is expiring soon 😰

I feel like that's a ridiculous policy. Working in our firm you need the CPA for your job/career progression, regardless of the fact that you're not in assurance or tax (it's a status thing). Whichever partner you work with most, assuming (s)he is a CPA, should approve it...the consulting partner I know would.

like

Thanks MA1. It's case by case for consulting though. We have to get partner approval just for the exam reimbursement @.@ Not sure if we will get the extension reimbursement too. Worth a try!

It's nice because the material is virtually the same and I can play the videos at 1.5 speed

Thanks Audit Senior 1. That's good to know!

^ yeah. Told them my exam was on xx date, and they gave me until then.

Pass me that torrent link bro

Hi All!
This is my first post in Fishbowl, I'm looking for some genuine guidance on below query.

I have a total of 8.1 yrs of development experience in Java, Bigdata and Hadoop (new to it).
I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?
Thanks

Can anyone offer insight into the annualized equivalent compensation of contract consulting gigs in B4 vs the equivalent FT positions?

Looking at post-MBA level finance advisory role if that helps.

I have a FT role currently that I would be skeptical about leaving for contract work, but I know that contract work tends to pay a little more so just wanted to see if it's enough to consider.
