Has anyone gotten jobs simply from getting certifications? But no years of experience in the Cloud?

I’m currently working as Help Desk in the IT industry and I’ve been doing tech for about 15 years, but I am currently in school and close to graduating with my Associate’s in Psych. Eventually I want to pursue CyberPsych and mix my passion for IT and Psych. The thing is, I hear from many people that you need a Master’s in Psych to do anything in that field. Any A.A’s graduates that can vouch? 🥺

Hi all, I have over all 15 years exp from build and release background.. out of which last 3 years as Project Manager .
I took a break last month .. now I got a offer from Citibank as PMO / C11 band.
Is it advisable to switch from project manager to a PMO role ??? Will this experience help me if I want to switch to Program manager role outside ?? Please advise .. any info on work life balance in Citi and annual hike , bonus will be helpful

I’ve interviewed for several Director and VP roles over the last 6 months. I keep getting to the end only to either be ghosted or told the position is “postponed due to budget”. Even my own company wants me to sit a Director role another 24 months before promotion “because of budget”.

Is budget really the reason or am I doing something wrong? How do I finally get that promo? Been regional ops (13 states) for 15mo and Director slotted for 9 now.

Hi! This is my first post. Nice to meet you all! I would like to know how certifications like AWS Solutions Architect and/or Azure Administrator 104 (got both) impact the yearly compensation, mainly in Spain (Barcelona). I have just graduated and have under one year experience in the field (cloud consultant). I would like some advice as everything is pretty new to me.
