Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

Did i do the right thing?

Any thoughts on plaintiff side bankruptcy law practice? Growth potential, pros/cons? Interviewing with a firm doing ch. 7,11,12,13.

About me: Water engineering/treatment and power plant performance experience for nearly 10 years. Just about finished completing my sustainability science masters (physics undergrad) and have my PMP cert. (water and chemistry projects, carbon capture and energy storage r&d - plenty of side projects but not my main job responsibility or title). I’m trying to pívot to a tech or consulting sus. position and trying to find how to properly brand myself to show the value I can bring. Can use advice!

Can anyone tell me more about the "Counsel" and "Senior Counsel" positions at law firms? I've seen many attorneys in those positions under different circumstances (some are partners wanting less work, others are associates who didn't become partners). Just wanting to know a bit more.

I come from a hospitality background (2 years of work ex internationally) and have ventured into IT during covid in an implementation role. My total IT work ex is 1.5 years. Currently I’m being paid 15LPA and hold an offer at another company for 23LPA.
I have don’t have an IT related degree but have managed to do some certifications last 6 months. Can someone suggest me what courses one should do if I’m in a techno/functional role to progress and enhance my learning curve?

I have done masters in commerce and i have experience of 3.5 yrs working on support project related to Bloomberg fundamentals consultation with bare minimum package of 2.6 lpa as a ctc. Is doing some courses from after market such as power bi ,sql etc will help me to raise my package or should i switch by upscaling my skill or without it as environment is toxic and they will not let me grow.kindly share your insight to help me choose better career path.
