Using points to stay at Prince de Galles in May. De Berri looked a little weird to me. Also the rooms looked small

Renaissance République is the best hotel in Paris in my opinion. Great neighborhood, by the metro, and the restaurant was in the Michelin Guide

Westin Vendome’s location is great but rooms are dated. I didn’t enjoy my stay.

Stayed at Le Dokhans in Tracdero last week and was upgraded to a suite with a view of the Eiffel Tower. It’s a small cozy hotel and only 10 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. Good value for points as well (35k/night)

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
