Has anyone taken a sick leave before? What did that look like? Was it hard to get back into the swing of things once you returned? Currently struggling with a worsening chronic illness with no cure. My GP has suggested a leave to get my symptoms under control as my quality of life is quite poor. I hide it very well during office hours and it has not overly affected my performance, but all my spare time is spent in bed pretty much incapacitated. Super sucks. Would appreciate advice 🙏

So, recently got put on a PIP after six months at my new job., two days after I told my boss and HR I recently learned I have a cognitive disability caused by an illness. The PIP was mostly because I forgot some deadlines, but also they said I need to be more professional in emails (even though others use zero punctuation and a lot of emojis. To clients.) and simultaneously ask more questions and ask fewer questions. Should I just assume this is unattainable and look for a new job again?

Has anyone ever worked at an agency in which the project management department was properly utilized? I traditionally was brought up in my career where PM type tasks were handled by lower level AMs. I have observed separating AM and PM tasks into two separate departments just causes communication issues and lazy account people. Account people should have a good understanding of how much effort and time goes into a project. Project Managers are missing a lot of context so blind leading blind.
