Has anyone transferred from Audit into Sustainability (ESG) reporting? What was your experience like?

I did! Honestly, it was enjoyable but I quickly realized I wanted more. I ended up using the experience to transfer into strategy consulting and have been happy ever since.

Nah, not a huge learning curve other than learning to think more like a consultant. The actual ESG learning will come to you as you progress.

For example, you may be asked to do something like “set up interviews with these people, and gather their feedback about x, and then put a deck together summarizing findings.”

That’s all the instruction you will get, and that is not a skillset auditors have.

This is targeted at other Project/Program managers. Right now I work in the Veterinary pharmaceutical business. I’ll likely be making a pivot sometime next spring, but am unsure what direction to go in. An obvious choice is human pharma, but getting into tech also seems appealing. Any insight from people who’ve been in both worlds would be helpful. :)

Hello everyone ,
I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

What are the most useful online courses in the DevOps space that I could take? They don't necessarily need to be free, but if Pluralsight/Coursera/etc. has a better group of offerings than another, I could budget 1 subscription. Ideally they'd be platform-agnostic, and/or cover multiple toolsets, as I am consultant and my assignments will be largely dependent on what the customer has.

My background is in tech transactional. I joined a cybersecurity SaaS startup at the end of last year and now also handle more generalist matters in addition to all things commercial-related. I have a number of books on contracts that I’ve found super helpful over the years (The Tech Contracts Handbook, A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, Sign Here, etc.). Can anyone recommend books they’ve found helpful for L&E matters, privacy matters, product matters, or marketing/advertising matters?

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago. I am expecting an offer from a firm doing business law work but think this might be an opportunity to go to my current employer and ask for a significant raise, with new offer in hand. Any thoughts or advice going into this?

Got a temp offer for less than a year without promise of turning into full-time. Wanted to know what ppl think about temp jobs (looks bad on resume if I don't turn full-time later within the company?) and what comp should look like (e.g. 1.2× of regular comp?).

Got another perm offer in a different industry for similar salary, but I might have to relocate and I'm concerned the work may involve translation instead of pure legal work.
