SC comp is 90k to 140k. Higher end of the band is reserved for TS SCI clearance and niche experience.
Interviews are not too technical. If you have the skillset, you should be fine.
Does location matter for that comp? I have a “contingent” offer as a SC with a TS SCI and some expertise and that 140k number is very exciting
In DC area..also in terms of seniority how does senior consultant at guidehouse compare to senior consultant at deloitte or senior associate at pwc?
I interviewed for a MC/AD IT strategy position there last year. 4 rounds of interviews, there was nothing technical, just lots of deep dives into my resume and practical scenario questions about how I would do XYZ.
Unless the Oracle practice has different comp bands, I would expect something in the $115-130k ballpark for SC.
SA at PwC=SC at Guidehouse. We were PwC not too long ago. Salary would depend on your expertise, likely. If you are strong in an area where we are not, you have some leverage. Agree with above, expect more of a “feel” interview than a technical. When I do interviews, I rarely dive deeply into technical. I can usually detect BS. I wouldn’t expect a Godfather offer, but they’ve been fair with me on salary.
So I had my interview, recruiter said they have a meeting on Tuesday to review. Do they make a hiring decision then or should I expect more interviews? I already spoke to the partner, director and manager. How long do they usually take to send out an offer if they want to hire?
