I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.

I might disagree with SC1, if you want your best shot at PE investment side, going into IB post MBA might be your best bet. MBA > MBB > PE might be more common for ops work but I think post MBA > PE is very rare unless you’re doing IB right after
Ya sorry for confusion, I agree with A1. But again, think the core issue here for OP is if they want Ops or Investment
MBA > MBB > PE is definitely the more likely path, if you want to get to the investment side of things.
Whether its the better path, think that depends on your appetite for Ops vs. Investment - seems like you may need to still figure that out based on your options, though your background sounds like it’d suggest Ops.
