If I get referred at IBM, get a mail for details from the HR but do not reply as I currently don't want to switch because of some reasons, can I get referred again after say 3 months?

Any Analysis Group fish willing to share your experience the company? I am a current business school student exploring opportunities with the firm post-biz school Analysis Group. Are the cases at the interview similar to that of other firms/casebook? I understand on the high level what’s the difference between AG’s project versus traditional strategy shops but wonder if you can elaborate on this.

Do not break client confidentiality or even come close.
Mentioning a client by name feels like an immediate ding
Honestly, the client doesn’t matter all that much unless you’re very senior. What matters is your intellect for cases and the type of work experience you have. Strategy project experience is helpful for BCG
I interview for BCG regularly. I care about how you perform in the interview, not about the big names you can throw in as your old clients

It's usually acceptable to name public sector clients unless theres a reason not to, but I wouldn't name private companies.

Well I walked into that one
I work in public sector and have never hesitated to share my clients. Is it taboo to share clients in public sector?
Right. I was just surprised seeing the above commercial consultants keep their clients private. I feel like it would absolutely provide insight into the type of work they’ve performed.

I couldn’t care less. After all you didn’t sell these projects anyways
I interview for BCG as well and i pay more attention to case performance, communication style and insights from past experiences. Wouldn’t be impressed by any big client names. Short answer: if you think there may be a breach of confidentiality just call them “a major global pharma company” or “big tech corp” or something like that.
