Does anyone know where I can go for a short period of time to get a business work setup? Two monitors + keyboard + mouse and good WiFi? I have a timed case study coming up and would ideally go into the office to do it but it is closed and i don’t have a good wfh setup.

I’m currently in a 1BR for $2400. Am I crazy to pay $3k for a studio in a much nicer building in the same area? My current building is trash and I realized having an updated kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room would be really nice, but not sure if it’s worth the price tag vs finding another place at $2500ish. I feel like working from home has been the death of my dating life. I used to at least go on 4 dates a month, and I was casually seeing a guy for a while. Post covid, I love my work-life balance but I'm never out. I can't meet people sitting at my desk, and I have no local coworkers to pull me out of the house for happy hour.

WFH is bringing me back to my college days of blasting ratchet music when I really should be diligently working at 11 am.

If there is a case that we have to quarantine again. Do you all think it is possible for store associates to work remotely? If so, what are some ways this could work? I fear another pandemic or outbreak and so many people being out of work again. I can't even fathom those that had jobs in retail that had little to no choice to not be remote.

Approached by Amazon recruiter to interview for an entry level role. Is it worth it? Recruiter said the hiring manager likes my profile but I lack some “product/industry” knowledge and she can’t match my YOE. I’m at 190 (210 TC).

What are some publications, books, podcasts, online classes etc that can help me prepare for my first year in consulting? Have 5 years of experience in finance and making the jump to consulting.

Given consulting firms will not spend as much on travel going forward, will they increase our salaries?
