Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

Show them a picture of their kids being dropped off at school and tell them what a nice family they have and you hope they are safe.
Then talk about how your pay has to double so that you can have a nice family like theirs.
You know what I think this just might work!
Not sure if it’s that unique, but stop talking. Make your case, ask for what you want, and then if the other person is quiet, don’t rush to fill it. You end up talking yourself down before the other person has even opened their mouth. I know I’ve done it before, and will not be repeating that.
That’s a good point, I guess it can be easy to panic and start making their job easier.
I've heard of people trying a "future value" clause. If the offer on the table has no flex, you can counter with a potential raise in six months if your performance is excellent. It puts pressure on you to do well, of course, but it always puts the potential employer in the awkward position of saying no to paying you for proven results.
That’s a cool idea I haven’t heard of that before, might give that a go.
Be honest and but tactful. Ask about the salary range and know your bottom line. If the range is below your bottom line, you really have to show your value and talk about how your education, experience, and skills are worth the increase to their range. The onus is on you, especially if competing against many others.
Yeah I think I have a salary range I’d be looking for which is good, I’d never sell myself short especially since my current job is fine.
