Have you dealt with inappropriate behavior while working for the federal government? I thought I would've been done with this kind of stuff after I left private sector security, but there's basically no protection at my new job from harassment from the inmates, and it's getting kind of intense. If you see an associate has really low hours for the month, do you imagine them chillen on a beach somewhere or do you consider they probably spent most of their days sitting in front of the computer being “available”? 2. If you send an associate a random e-mail on a weekend like “Can you pull X and send to Y”, would you get annoyed if they responded saying they weren’t by a comp or would you consider it reasonable that they wouldn’t be by a comp on a weekend?

Do you think it is time to find another job when your PIC is a micro manager, never trained you when you got hired, expects you to know things no one ever told you about in the first place, texts and calls you in the morning with questions you don’t have an answer to (I work evening shift so I’m mostly sleep when he reaches out), assumes the worst about everything, plots against you anyway, lies all the time, they don’t even do their job, they leave their trash behind etc. gives me anxiety.

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

Not sure if this is the right place, but in a privately owned business located in a right to work state, is verbal abuse allowed and would swearing at and putting down an employee in front of a bunch of other employees and in front of customers be deemed verbal abuse? Can owners demand you work a certain amount of hours a week if it’s 100% commission?
