Yes. We packed all of the medication in a separate carryon (it was in its own bag all together)
TSA didn’t have a problem with it. And United didn’t count it as a carry on, as it was medically necessary.
Yes, and it was all very easy- I was anxious about it but no one ever said boo to me about it. I kept all the meds and syringes etc. together in a little zippered case, so I could pull it out easily if I ever needed to, but I never did. I do have tsa precheck, so it may be different if you go through general security, but truly I never had a problem. I was traveling a ton, so I was giving myself pio shots in the delta club bathrooms, in stalls, even in the tiny bathroom on the airplane 😂. It’s intimidating at first, but you’ll get the hang of it quickly! Good luck with your whole journey!
Zero issues. They don’t even make you take anything out of your bag when you go through security.
