Too 5 will guarantee success in any business you start. #6 and below, 98% chance of failure
While dollars and cents are debatable, when was the last time you met someone who said, "you know, I wish I didn't go to top b-school"? Experience and intangibles are worth a lot - not to mention your network.
You should be asking real entrepreneurs. Your goals are the opposite of most people here.
Top* (I didn't go to a top 5, clearly)
Same for me. Would love to hear thoughts
Top 20 is good for career progress. You are better off starting a business BEFORE going to business school. From my experience attending bschool, Previous entrepreneurs had a higher success rate starting an even more successful business. People that "wanted" to be entrepreneurs failed miserably trying to do it while and after bschool. My 2 cents
that t-5 network will be clutch if you're trying to start a business
Lol @D1
If you want to do startups, I'd say better served by just joining one than by going to any b-school (except Stanford)
Some top level bschools will actually help you start and fund a business
Depends on the type of entrepreneurship you want to do. If it's adding skills you don't have or something you want to build out for a company, go for it. Otherwise, hire it out. Also, by the time you graduate, will AI/data science still be as big? If not, find the next big thing.
Man the top 5 always changes. What's the "standard" top 5? Is it HBS, Stanford, Wharton, Booth, and Kellogg?
I don't think us news rankings for a given year have a huge impact on an individual's career
