Leave! Some companies are not product led and will never be. For your sanity just leave and move to a company where they understand product roles, the value you will add and a better environment for your development and mental health!
There is no point staying in that type of situation.
OP I have experienced this working closely with the CEO who thought of himself as Software dev/ product person! I can tell you there were no point discussing and we even reach a point where from tantrums to tantrums the team was yelled out..
Then the senior stakeholders pretended the product team was not qualified because they could not get what they wanted when they wanted ( useless features , wrong things prioritised with a legacy website that was on the verge to collapse).
At some point you can’t take it anymore, they only needed a delivery manager, and I knew that was not where I wanted my career to head.. I work too hard for this!
Being a PM is an amazing job but it can quickly become hell on earth with this type of situations.
You should prioritise yourself, how you want to work and what you want to learn.
The pandemic has proven that there are amazing opportunities for everyone if they take the leap of faith so why staying in a place where clearly they are unable to appreciate your work?
Leave - there are other WFH companies that will value what a PM does.
Escalate
