Sounds fun! Arches / Moab is a little further but an option!
Zion is so hot - I would stay in Bryce and do a day trip to Zion for the Narrows. Agree that Moab is amazing!
I was in Zion recently and I would say 2 nights are enough. Make sure you plan ahead how to get into the park if the shuttles aren’t running still! We rented bikes and it was a clusterf. Everyone’s lined up early and bikes were almost all rented out.
2 days of hiking. We only stayed one night as we were driving back from Utah to LA and did a pit stop to Zion otw back. Biked the narrows trailhead ~1 hr (it was soooo scenic and beautiful and allowed you to see the entirety of Zion without being stuck in a shuttle) and then did the narrows hike for 5 hours ish. Biked back to Springdale, dropped off our rentals and got back to hotel around dinner time and showered. Then we promptly put our names down at Zion pizza and noodle and got some big boys /white claws at the local convenience store. Left the next morning Bc it was Sunday and we needed to head back home but wished we had 1 more day to explore the rest of Zion.
Shuttles for Zion are back actually... make sure to make reservations though!!

You could do a day for capitol reef NP. It’s about a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from Bryce
Awesome Rec! Thank you!
Love Capitol Reef - hardly any tourists.
Feel free to direct message me - I just did this trip staying in Under Canvas. Zion was amazing but so hot. Like 107. You need shuttle tickets to get to most trail heads but you can find a tour guide in town not working to “drop you off” in the morning and fetch you in the afternoon - worth it to hike The Narrows! Bring a good water shoe and a walking stick - the whole hike is in water and the rocks are slippery! The Watchman hike was great for sunset - lots of switchbacks and a loop at the top (no shade, bring lots of water). Bryce was significantly cooler and great hikes to the amphitheater or other hikes that have totally out of this world rock formations. From Bryce I drove to Moab. Canyonlands was my favorite park but dead horse state park was great for sunset. Arches was amazing but get into the park by 6am to avoid horrendous crowds. I would skip Antelope / Lake Powell and Grand Canyon right now....literally everything is closed. Horseshoe bend is open in Lake Powell but that’s it. Private boat charters are running $12K/a day so that eliminates a lot from getting out on the lake. Grand Canyon halted shuttles and they aren’t letting in private vehicles past the resorts. It’s terrible if you actually want to do anything (like hike) and not be swarmed by a million people/kids who are happy with an overlook.
