Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.
Can I get some likes please

You'll do fine in the interview. You've got a lot of experience and you no doubt learned a lot about how organizations actually work. The key is to confidently project that you can step into the role and handle it. Don't be nervous, once the interview begins you'll hit your stride and you'll be at the top of your game. Crush it!
Omg….congrats!!!! Best wishes, you got this!!!

Congratulations and good luck! The part OM roles that I've interviewed focused on facilities work and managing others. So being able to highlight my familiarity with invoicing)expense work and a past of supervising other admins was helpful.
Thank you so much for this feedback!
You got this! And if you need to hear it again, you've got this. I love listening to encouragement videos on YouTube when I need a boost. Have you seen any of those? Think of the interview like a project you’re managing: prep your talking points, anticipate questions, and stick to the plan. Show them you already think like a manager. I sometimes throw on a Jocko Willink or Mel Robbins clip as pep talks before go-time.
And I would recommend doing some research on the company and salaries in that field before your interview so that you’re prepared for that portion of it should it come up. I was always terrible at this part…
This is a great opportunity to move up to a managerial role from an office-support role, so you will have a broader work scope and possibly manage other staff. Focus on the job description and come up with relevant examples of the listed tasks from your previous experience. Strategize how you would fit in with the office dynamic (culture), and how you would essentially rise to the challenge. The person you must first convince is yourself. You got this! Best wishes.
Get yourself something to brag about. It will boost your confidence. If you go to the website asaporg.com, it's the American Society of Administrative Professionals, you can become ASAP certified for free today. There is a program they offer that you can take later on that will give you a PACE Certification which is the Professional Administrative Certificate of Excellence. During the interview you can let them know that you have joined the organization (which you will be able to print the certificate off right away and download a member badge to add to your email signature), and that you are exploring the next steps to gain your PACE Certification as well as taking advantage of all of the professional development offerings the organization has available. Even if you don't mention that, do it for yourself. There is a ton of webinars and courses offered that are a wealth of knowledge! Good luck🤞🏽 🤞🏽 😊 😊!!!
I think it is great that you are going for a higher role and have a company willing to talk to you about it as they must see that you can do the higher role. I am sure you have but make sure you do your research on the company and have some good questions for the interviewer with putting your best foot forward. Good luck to you although I am sure you will do fine and will land the job.
You might want to look at others who have applied for this type of position to see what are the standard questions they ask and then practice your answers. I hate going on interviews when they ask you these off the wall questions from a list of psychological questions they found somewhere to see how you answer them. Or better still, when you are the first interviewee, it seems that those who are the first one who interview for the position are forgotten about if they have a few others they are interviewing and end up not getting the job vs the second to the last or the last person.
You got the job. Congratulations! Remember, you have already aced the interview. They see something in you that shows you have potential and can do this job. They believe in you. Now you need to believe in yourself. O r "Fake it 'til you make it", and good luck!
I cannot find an Office manager position, they all want a specific title that I did under my office manager role. I can do it all, but nobody will give me the second glance.
Good luck!
