Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

I’d take the first offer to build up experience while living at home. Since this would be your first job, the position would be just to gain experience. The extra 10K bonus/year should be out of the question as it probably won’t even cover 3 months of rent (since bonuses are taxed more heavily than salary).
My advice is to take the first offer to build experience, and save up while you’re still at home. Then once you have more experience, you can consider moving to a new city for a higher offer.
Zero chance I'd take a risk on a relocation with the current economic environment if I had a comparable offer in hand.
Plus Citi seems much less prone to economic downturns than a major airline. Did you know Southwest is the only major airline to be consistently profitable?
I would agree. Most financial institutions are going to be doing well in a rising rate environment.
Don’t risk relocating. Also ask if they can bump up your $100k offer I had 1 year of experience and a bachelors and they offered $110-120k.
I’d say depends on where sort of experience you prefer. I would say Citi offers more opportunities in the future if you want to move around and grow internally m or move to another big bank seamlessly.
