Can we change the tax regime during the financial year?
Are there any restrictions from the tax department as such?

I missed declaring tax investment and my employer dropped me in the new tax regime.


I have asked the payroll team to change it but they are simply denying it. However, I checked the circular and there are no such restrictions mentioned.

I've transferred my PF from Wipro to Cognizant where in it the Employee's PF shows around 83k but the Employer's PF shows only around 27k.

If the employee and employer have to contribute 12% then both should be equal to 83k isn't it?
