Hello everyone

I recently completed all four parts of the CPA exam and interested in joining PA. I have over 3.5 in corporate accounting, how would you guys go about securing a position in the B10? My plan was to work with a recruiter, but all the recruiters I have met with so far are trying to get me back in corporate accounting.

Thank you,

Yeah a decent route would be to try and get an employee referral from someone on here and go from there. Based off what you've said I think you would have a decent shot at getting hired. Probably would be coming in as an A1 though. Possibly A2 if you can argue your case

like

Our office classifies A1s as interns/co-ops. Entry level is A2

Please message me if you are interested in working at CohnReznick. Thanks.

I am seeing some positive feedbacks across the web, is there a way I can message you directly?
Thanks

I was in similar situation. I just applied to their websites and got interviews (top 10 and top 15 PA). I’m still in the process of 2nd and final interviews, so not sure I’ll get an offer yet 🤞🏻

I just DM you about this

Thank you for your input everyone. Let's connect on LinkedIn, my name is Jackson Francisque.

I have worked in four different types of pharmacy and I don’t really like anything so far. I don’t know what to do anymore. Right now I don’t feel like I can do any of these jobs forever. The types I have worked in are:hospital (pediatrics ), retail, specialty and a call center.

I am leaving retail pharmacy after 15 years. I am opening a 403b pharmacy for a FQHC. I don't believe that retail pharmacy will be able to sustain itself with patient costs skyrocketing. I think people will become enraged or indifferent enough to allow the federal government to take over healthcare. How many times do we see people getting free prescriptions via government coverage that drive better cars than we do?

Any advice on where to find the best “profile guides” for the top MBA programs? I find that the school descriptions on poets and quants are a bit outdated.

like

I keep hearing that Booth’s MBA program is rigorous (maybe the most rigorous out of M7). That said, how much more work are students expected to do compared to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, etc.? I don’t know if this is an outdated opinion, considering a lot of MBAs are very demanding. Booth is personally my top choice for having a flexible curriculum & 2-3 days of classes. But I really want to know what to expect around the “rigorous” label. Does it mean I’ll be buried in coursework the other 2-3 days?

For questions as to why you are looking to leave your current firm.. I am looking to move because for some reason I am hand-held a lot and given simpler tasks, so I am getting bored and want more challenging / much more fast paced environment. Also kind of bored because I am on one project for a long time and I want exposure to variety of projects. Is this a fair answer or would I be seen as arrogant? Is there a better way to frame my answer?

I’m a new grad working in FDD and I’m trying to decide if becoming a CPA is worth it. I do not plan on staying in accounting in the future. I’m more interested in strategy work. I certainly do not want to do Audit. Would you recommend getting the CPA considering my career aspirations? Do you think it’s worth it? If not, what is the best way to use my time efficiently?
