Hello Fishes, How safe it is to join LTI Mindtree on CTC of 30 LPA and JB? The pay they are giving is really tempting but a bit worried on the job security part. If you have a doubt don't go, if you are confident in the company giving you 27,.just go for it. If by any chance your doubt becomes reality then you will regret later everyday. For 2,3 lakhs of difference why take risk which can put you in mental trauma later. Only make decisions if you are at least 99% confident.
Then give interviews in other companies, target only those companies which you think are best for you. First make a list of good companies and then apply. Else you will end up with a lot of offers but uncertainty in mind. Uncertainty is always bad at this stage of career.
Mindtree is good company
It’s no more Mindtree. LTI acquired it and now it’s called LTIMindtree. I was released from a project I worked for 2 years into bench. There aren’t enough projects and you’ll have to slog through to get even one cuz resource/bench managers aren’t competent enough. There motive is to reduce the bench strength by firing after 60 days of bench period instead of providing projects. They’d ask you to choose between PMO roles or mainframe positions irrespective of what your current role is. My suggestion would be if a client interview happened then you can consider or else this company is a nightmare even for laterals cuz for firing starts after 120 days of bench period starting from your DoJ.

Dont join LTIMindtree. They are silently laying off people who are on bench. Bench time reduced to 60 days from 90 days. Job security is none. Career path is none. You are good until you have project. They promotes people silently. Dont even have transparent policy for promotions. Wait till they settle down with merger.
There is no project for data engineers too? What was your package?
