Hello, I have been in higher education for the last three years but have been interested in starting a career as a Data Analyst. I used PowerBI in my last role to analyze data for measuring productivity and forecasting recruitment strategies at my college but no true experience as a Data Analyst. Do you have any recommendations on how I can enter this profession? I have applied for Entry Level Data Analyst positions with no success but not giving up.

I’m new to the cybersecurity industry, professionally speaking (I did/do a lot for family and close friends). I’ve completed a boot camp, which I regret doing. I have certifications for companies such as Qualys and ISC2, but no CompTIA security+ yet. I tailor my resume to position descriptions. It’s been a month or so, without any offers. What would you suggest that I do to get my first entry level position?

Currently a first year staff in Risk Advisory in a Mid-Tier Firm hoping to move to Big 4 for either Risk or Cyber. When would be the most appropriate time to make the change? I heard that Senior Staff in mid-tier would most likely be hired as an “Experienced Hire” in Big 4. So would it be smarter to make the move now as a first year staff since I’ll be considered Experienced Hire anyway?
