Hello, I’m currently a student in my final semester in an engineering college, I have been placed at Deloitte India. I had no academic backlog during my selection process but I got an internal KT in my 7th semester which has been cleared and it wont be reflecting in my 8th semester certificate, since I will have a backlog while joining the company ( because my start date would be before I get my 8th semester mark sheet) will my placement be cancelled?

Is M. Design from IIT-IDC Bombay really worth it?

I am working for 1.5 years in a Hyderabad startup as UI/UX Designer. After Btech I did a certification in UI/UX and got job from the institute placement only. Will a master's from IIT-IDC Bombay will be worth or should I climb the regular conventional ladder by jumping from company to company for package hikes?

What was your experience with the LSAT? Do you think it's gatekeeping, preventing students who can't afford it (often people of color) from entering the field? OR is it helping future attorney's of color by giving them a chance to go to a top school regardless of grades? I've seen questions about the LSAT all day and just want to know how people feel.

A friend is considering deferring an offer (stem PhD) for 1 year straight out of undergrad to work in NY, either in a research institution or a biotech. She does not have any real work experience outside of her lab (3 years) and an adjacent internship. Another factor is she is just generally feeling burnt out on school after the last few years.

Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.
Any advice on what to do?
