A senior PM you should expect 130K or more but years of experience is of course a factor
Well it depends on the industry I’d say. A Manager or PM typically reports to a Senior Manager or Sr. PM. So in my field they’re in different pay bands.
In DoD/Aerospace located in upstate NY, a PM makes about 110k-200k, where a Sr Mgr makes 140k-230k.
Also depends on the location. Someone in NYC, Sacramento, or Seattle is going to make ~25% more - but that’s offset by higher taxes and cost of living.
Experience and credentials also play a part. I’m a PM but I’m fairly young and new, so I’m on the low end. One of my peers has 15+ years of experience on me, so they make about $75k more than me.
