Hello recruiters! How open are you to filling up ACD roles with ex-senior copywriters? In my defense, I should have spoken up at my agency and gotten the promotion I deserved. I was way better than my ACD at problem-solving and coming up with the right ideas for brands. Now I'm trying to work as an ACD but am not getting a single interview. Is it because I don't have the experience on paper?

I had a small query that I have been interviewed for a role in Deloitte in October 2020 and I have not cleared the interview then after again I had applied and cleared the interview and got the LOI also but the time gap is not exactly 6 months between the two interviews will it be a problem to get my offer letter.?

I had my 1st round of interview with Executive Director and 2 leads for Technical role. I have 2 queries-
1. How many rounds should i expect in total considering I clear everything? (I think my first round itself has technical + manger/director)
2. How long (time) will it take to get an offer?

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?

found a role i’m really interested in and came across a post about it from hiring manager with a “reach out if you’re interested”. I’ve got a few connections to the company - is it better to try to go through someone I’m connected with in a different department and try to get referred, or just jump on the hiring manager’s post and reach out to them cold?

Cold applied for an awesome role, had an interview with hiring manager, recruiter, and given a pretty hefty assignment that I’m really proud of nailing. They followed up with an email asking for 4-5 days that I am available for a full day of interviews. Gave them 4-5 days, started planning for how I’d get those days off work during insane times at current job, and now not a single word from them to confirm a date. Been over a week now. Sad. I got an offer at Meta as a 3-mo contingent CSM that pays 2x what I make now.

Two pros: 1) Making the jump from a non-tech agency role to FAANG can be tough, so this is a great oppo in that aspect.
2) I'm living in SF on a non-tech salary, so the pay increase would be incredible.

It’s possible I could move into a similar role @ Meta once this expires, but to be safe, I'd need to start the job hunt again asap.
