AlixPartners I am expecting an offer for VP in financial crime/compliance and risk. I need to give them my compensation expectation. Currently working in Bank with 7+ YOE including 6 yrs in Big4 non-MBA (Masters in Finance). What is the total comp (base+bonus) that I can ask for? What is the general sign on bonus? Thanks in advance

TX Resident here. It is a HUGE pain to get licensed here.
They have a saying that "Your TX CPA license will transfer anywhere" because of all the requirements.
Can confirm HUGE pain to get my license transferred a dozen years ago. Sounds like it hasn’t gotten any better.
Following! Moved to Texas 2 months ago from CA and still haven’t done anything about this
Applies for reciprocal license in TX earlier this year. Pretty easy and took about a month to get my license.
Huh? I transferred from CA to TX this year. No problems. Send in the documents, get fingerprinted, proof of CPE, done. From mailing in documents to the end it probably took a month. So anyway if you’re coming from a state that already has high CPE/credits standards i guess you’re fine.
Thanks!!! Is your License general or attest? And do TX accept both of them? I’m currently applying for my California license but not sure which one should I apply for.
No it is really easy. I am going through the process right now.
I moved from ny to Texas- had no problems applying for reciprocity. I mean I had to take an online test (which was not hard) amd then waited about a month and then got it
Btw I did this in 2019
Is the California ethics test sufficient enough for the Texas 4 hour ethics course requirement?
